About Washington, DC Independent Music Festival
If you are interested in being considered for the 2010 music festival, click here
Washington, DC has a long-standing tradition of nurturing great musical artists, and it is in this spirit that in 2006, DCIFF launched the Washington, DC Music Festival (DCIMF), which is committed to the promotion of independent music and is proud to be providing wide-reaching exposure for local and national acts.
DCIMF is for Music lovers: Opportunities abound for filmmakers and musicians to network and cross-pollinate. Our joint festivals are a perfect melding of the two industries, which are increasingly interdependent. In addition to the Opening and Closing musical and daily performances by independent artists; DCIFF presents informative seminars to reinforce the Music and Film bond ( Music Composition for Film, Music rights).
The DCIMF is proud to feature talented acts each night of the festival. If you are interested in being considered for the 2010 music festival, click here or for more information on DCIMF, please email music@dciff.org.
