The Washington DC Independent Film Festival (DCIFF) is an award winning annual festival showcasing: the best independent films from around the world; Master Classes, Seminars & Workshops conducted by industry professionals; blending with a Music Festival to provide world class event. Before the festival (Pre-Production - April to February):
- Community Relations Coordinator: Help us reach out to the DC community and secure their participation to promote our events
- Communication Coordinator: Help us create and disseminate our information (distribute brochures, postcard, programs, enewsletters, etc)
- Development: Help us find sponsors to support our endeavors
- Film Evaluators: Help us evaluate the 2010 entries. We are seeking industry professionals to evaluate the entries - Evaluation process ends December 15th.
- Festival Coordinator: Help us organize DCIFF 2010, this is mostly an administrative position - POSITION FULFILLED
- Filmmakers Relations: Help us keep in touch with our filmmakers and their films.
- Fundraising: Help us organize events prior to the festival and fundraise to meet our goals
- Grant writers: Help us identify, write, and submit grants to meet our goals
- Graphic artists: Help us create marketing materials (posters, postcards, etc)
- Music Coordinator: Help find, select and book music groups for the music festival
- Press relations: Help us reach out to press to promote our films, filmmakers and events
- Seminar Coordinator: Help us organize, secure panelists and moderators for our seminars - POSITION FULFILLED
- Social Media Coordinator: Help us update - facebook, myspace, twitter, blogs, and create new social media - POSITION FULFILLED
- Special Events: Help us to organize Opening and Closing night events during the festival
- Sponsorship Coordinator: Help us Identify and secures sponsors (financial and goods and services) needed to meet the goals of the festival and related events.
- Volunteer Coordinator: Help us reach out to volunteers, help coordinators secure volunteers and organize schedules during the festival and related events
- Website: Help us update our website
